Bio: Pastor Saji had no childhood dreams of ministry. While he has worked in different capacities in the church, being a pastor was the last thing on his mind. However the divine will of God prevailed and he was “caught” by the Lord. Pastor Saji was ordained in 2004 and has been The Rock’s Senior Pastor since then. Together with his lovely wife Anu and 2 sons, they have been committed to the work of the Lord.

Bio: Pastor Sudershan came to know Jesus as Lord and Savior in 1987. He has been with the church for 19 faithful years. He is married to his beloved wife Sarala, and together they have 2 adult sons who are married with children. With a heart for the lost, he sums up it by saying, “I have been called out to serve the Lord and to take the gospel to the unreached, unheard, to plant churches, support widows and orphans.”
Pastor George Samuel (Associate Pastor)

Pastor George had an encounter with God at a very young age and has served in various ministerial roles. After helping to pioneer a church in Canada, God brought Pastor George and his wife Sophi to California and to The Rock in 2007. They believe they are called to help build, equip and release individuals and churches into what they are destined to be.

Pastor Mathew gave his heart to Jesus in 1991. God brought him from India in 2008 to complete his doctorate degree in theology. The tangible presence of the Lord and the vision the church has for the nations is what led Pastor Mathew to The Rock. While he is a great blessing to the church, he indeed misses his wife Sheela and son and daughter back home in India.

Jacob Mathews

Jacob came to know the Lord at the age of 12. Having had a special touch from God, he has been divinely enabled to serve Christ and the Church faithfully in various capacities. He has been a vital part of the church since its early beginnings. The very first meetings were actually held in his home. He is married to Lillykutty who he calls the “love of my life” and has 3 beautiful adult daughters who are all married with children.
Sonu Varughese

Sonu will be the first to tell you that although life is not a bed of thorn-less roses, knowing Jesus and His love is so worth it. While she was saved back in 1984 (Vacation Bible School), she really didn’t live a Christian life until 1988 when she had a real encounter with God. Overseeing the women’s ministry of the church, Sonu serves because the love of Christ compels her to do so and her heart’s desire is to reach the lost.
Rajendran Nair

Raj was a former Hindu who came to know Jesus as the only true Way. He received salvation in 2005 and began attending The Rock soon after where he strongly felt the presence of God. He and his joyful wife Mini have a young son and daughter. His heart’s desire is to continue the vision of spreading the Gospel (Luke 2:10-11) to the ends of the earth. His loyalty and passion for the Body of Christ compels him to be an active member and not just a spectator.
